It's been about a year since "The Food Fight", so does that mean "The Test" is coming soon? Haha, sadly no. But it's still coming eventually I hope. Voice lines are still needing to be sent in. I only need two more character voice lines until I can start animating. I think after they're sent in, I'll pitch some short episodes to the crew that only involve the main trio to make production easier. Anyways, this has been Jack, signing off. Hey, work has been slow on this episode. We're just now getting voicelines sent in, so yeah, fun. Also, I decided to redesign some characters as the "wonderful" artist I am, and Alonso and Gerardo (especially Gerardo) will have new designs in the episode. Alonso's design change was only a hair change, however Gerardo will unfortunately no longer be the pigeon he's known for being :(

Anyways, I'm expecting a September-October release date unfortunately. About a year ago is when we were starting to work on animating The Foodfight so if I go at the same slow pace, it should be out by then. I'll try to go at a faster pace by not spending so much time on the animatic, and might just not even make one. I also really don't wanna rush this either, so idk. Anyways, that is all the updates as of now. Seeya soon maybe.

So we have to do a script re-write because unfortunately, Malachai, one of the more prominent characters in the episode, has left the Alanja team for reasons I don't know about. I could ask Alonso about any reasons since they do talk in-person, but whatever. Anyways, the re-write is going well so far, I re-wrote like half of the episode so far, so things are going well with that. With this script change, my character (Jack) won't be as prominent of a character as before, both his and Malachai's roles will be filled by Jordan and Hector (Hector wasn't present in the food fight so we're bringing him back). As for our new character (name will be revealed soon), he's gonna be more prominent than he was in the original script. Gerardo (the pigeon guy) is also gonna have more lines than what he originally had. Unfortunately, Henry still won't be appearing in this episode (subject to change possibly during the re-write). Keep in mind, most of Malachai's original lines have been given to the other characters (some lines have been altered to fit their personalities more), so yeah. There's that update. Animating will begin as soon as all of fhe script is finishes and when we get the voice lines sent in. I'm sure it'll all turn out great. If possible, I'll post the original script shortly after the final episode is posted so stay tuned!

So.......where have we been? Well...we've been working very slowly on the next Alanja episode, but we're happy to announce that it'll be finally going into production soon. We have a finished script and I think it could end up being better than The Foodfight. And the title of this episode? Alanja - The Test. Most of the characters that have previously been introduced in the last two episodes (including a NEW character in place of Henry) return once more for a test in school. However, they alongside our main crew come up with ways to sabotage the test in some way. Jack and Malachai are the odd ones out here and they have to figure out their own way, and knowing those two...things probably won't go to well. Meanwhile, everyone else plans to cheat their way through. How will these groups clash? Who will win? I dunno but we'll just have to find out soon! Release date of this episode is TBD at the moment, so I'll update everyone whenever I can. Anyways, that's all I wanted to say about this episode without revealing too much so yeah. Stay tuned!

Hey guys, Jack here with a quick update on Alanja. The Foodfight will be coming soon at some point next month! It's our largest animation so far, and after that episode is out, we'd like to know what you guys want to see in the future of Alanja. I'm even brainstorming ideas for the next episode! Hey guys, Jack here. UPDATE about the upcoming Alanja episode: It was planned to release at some point last month, but due to time constraints it's been pushed back further. It will now hopefully be releasing some time next month! But, we do have another project coming around the corner on July 26th this year. It's gonna be about my character(Jack)'s birthday (it's on the same day as the expected release date) and will feature new side-characters that would have debuted in The Foodfight. The main Alanja crew will also see a few personality changes as we continue moving forward this year.
